The year 2014, was the year that I decided to expand my
selling venues to more that Galleries and the Internet.
My highlight of the year was to be selected to exhibit every
month with the “Artists Under the Sun” at Zoo Lake Park. Exhibitions take place on the first weekend
of every month. A wonderful way to spend
a weekend in the park with the best bunch of people, other artists!
Been a novice in
exhibiting in the open air with winds picking up when you list expect them and
blowing everything away in all directions and the umbrella flying like a kite,
you really learn very quickly how to get yourself organised for the next time!
Now I know how to best secure my paintings and even get the
umbrella to stay put!
Also, I have decided
to take part in two to three Art Fairs a year to expand my brands’ exposure to a wider audience of potential collectors. It is working well as I have achieved many
sales on exhibition and later with commissions and after sales!
Besides these venues, I also exhibited with my art club the
“Paint & Palette” and “Hellenic Arts” in their annual exhibitions.
All in all it was a very successful year with 87 paintings
sold, a lot of them medium to large size.
My aim for this year 2015 is to take every opportunity
available to me to showcase my art weather it’s with Galleries, Art clubs,
Internet or Art Fairs!
It is all worth the effort and the time I have to put into
these exhibitions!
